The layout and Location of the property suited us fine, the pub opposite was great and a bonus.

For what we used it for nothing

Floor was dirty but that was the only thing wrong

We liked the location in the sense that it was close to many things we could go and visit, we didn't spend much time at the accommodation for a number of reasons. When we came to the apartment we altered our plans slightly as a result.

On a main road at a junction and not as described in the description and the amenities not as described. This was the first time away on our own in 20yrs now the children are older. For the same price we could have looked at a hotel but chose to have our own space. The TV had to have the aerial connected by my husband, with only free view as choice. You are not allowed to use the nice cosy fireplace as described in the description. And the garden view with terrace was about as small as you can get situated right next to the bins. But we could see other people's gardens and everyone walking past as it is extremely open as it is also the entrance to the apartment. If there are guests in the apartment upstairs you can hear their every movement. Parking on site was actually on the road as instructed before we got here, the description says you don't need to reserve it but we weren't given the opportunity to even use it. The bed is so creaky we had to wedge a pillow between the headboard and wall so it didn't wake us up everytime we moved. Always close the curtains when getting changed otherwise the neighbours will have full view of you in all your glory. The fridge was dirty, the furniture hadn't been moved to hoover the carpet. Hubby had to rid the place of spiders and cobwebs in corners. Our heating was supplied by a plug in movable radiator to take the chill off as it can be chilly in the late evening and the heating in the apartment doesn't kick in until late at night when you are asleep. Although we don't know when that was as it didn't happen for us and there are no instructions for anything. No welcome manual, WiFi on a scrap of paper and a draw full of leaflets. We chose not to take in the ambience of the outside surrounds of the road and passersby as it felt invasive as they were virtually on top of you. And there was definitely no keeping warm by the fireplace unless we plugged in the heater.

Very Cosy & Comfortable Cottage with everything we needed. Makes a change to have such a Comfy Sofa in a Holiday home which is blessing when you’ve travelled a long Journey

Although situated in a Lovely Village the Road is quite noisy & busy

The whole apartment was very nice. Everything you need, kitchen equipment etc. Lovely comfy bed. Plenty of space for putting clothes. Very clean and ideal location for a quiet get away.
