The walks around the area were wonderful especially the building up the top of the road, very creepy! Everything you wanted in the property was there very cozy would stay again. :-)

Was'nt great being on the ground floor as you could hear the people above so did keep us awake. Unfortunately the lovely pub over the road was a little out of our price range for food so the drive to the next nearest pub was about 10 mins.

Cosy and unique cottage

The bathroom needs a total overhaul. Getting a decent bath was impossible . Sink too small.

Nice accommodation.

Some instructions about how to set up the sofabed would have been helpful. The owner replied after 24h, when we asked.

idyllic village location with amazing view from top of hill; beautiful open room with beams. comfortable bed and very strong shower. Good range of kitchen utensils. Awesome bakery/cafe just down the road.

No secure, enclosed space for the dog. Nearest shop miles away - would have been helpful to know to stock up before hand.

The apartment was a good size for us and located very well.

A few small details could have been better. There were no toiletries (eg shampoo) and no tea or coffee which many rental properties provide.

Lovely cottage, good size room,my girls enjoyed living there for couple.of days.

I had to park the vehicle at the top of the road on the first night. Toilet seat broken.

The cottage was very clean and handy for york, Scarborough and other places, it was very spacious and very close to the pub which was across the road,
