Nice bed, nice seating area, opposite a good pub

Heating wasn’t on so place was cold and as they were night storage heaters we were cold until about 2am!

Comfy bed and we loved the area! Great little spot, really clean and enjoyable stay

Easy access to upstairs accommodation which felt a bit uneasy, no signal on TV and limited facilities.

"Was nice and quiet but a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the cottage."

The location was good for visiting York .

It was a little bit dated with fixtures as in the blinds were broken, some of the kitchen utensils were dirty where my son had to scrub a frying pan that was full of grease. And a little grubby in places!
