Blossoms Reach - 2 minutes from station and city centre

The property is well situated for York city centre and the railway including the railway museum. The information and welcome pack was well above average.

The property is a 9 minute walk from the railway station and 10 to 20 minute from centre of York depending on your final destination. The 2 minutes stated in the property description is misleading (easy to check with Google maps). There is significant traffic noise as the property is on a main road and not well sound proofed. Conversations from people walking past the house are easily heard. The neighbours in the flat above can also be heard but they made minimal noise during our stay. The shower needs some TLC (new silicon and grouting) also it was not well cleaned. There were black hairs (I'm old and grey) stuck to the wall and shower unit.

Excellent location. Great kitchen with washing machine. Walking distance to everything. Train station and hire cars within walking distance also

Small double bed. Bathroom door needs repairing. Mould in shower needs cleaning.

The apartment was very well appointed and very clean. Quite comfortable. Handy location, walking distance to the Old Town. Very clean and the hosts allowed us access a little early to suit our train arrival from Edinburgh which was appreciated. Plenty of eating areas within walking distance.

Yes, 2 minutes from the station and/or Old Town if driving or taking a bus, but walking with suitcases is another thing altogether. It is near the junction of the main road in and a busy side road.

Location was convenient for visiting city centre with a useful Sainsbury shop nearby.

Property was rather noisy as it was on a very busy road into York. The bathroom lacked a mirror.

The location is very close to the train station and very easy to find. Although it is in the roadside, the noise was not a disturbance. The size is compact but perfect for our needs. Excellent kitchen facilities including a washer/dryer. Tea, coffee and milk, and washing up liquid and washer pods were greatly appreciated. Very comfy settee and great size tv. Walking distance if supermarket and restaurants. Also walking distance of Left Luggage (close to station) which was very handy after checking out.

The shower water pressure isn’t fantastic but is ok.

Convenient and use the whole apartment to yourself.

Didn't inform in advance that no shower gel and shampoo were provided. Bed sheets are not clean as feet are itchy.

Location is brilliant, walk to train station about 10 m8nutes, walk to spoons about 5 minutes, walk to centre about 15 to 20 minutes, the apartment was lovely snd clean and nice smelling, good shower, overall a very enjoyable stay, and would definitely book again!

I can't say "didn't like" anything, but happy to point out..... the shower head spits out at the bottom, maybe needs sealing, ptfe tape? Or a new rubber ring? Don't get me wrong, the shower pressure through the head is perfect, also, the patio area needs a tidy up, we didn't use it, that's it, I give it 5 stars all the way!

Because it faces the road it noisy when vehicles or pedestrians passes by the house.
