Blossoms Reach - 2 minutes from station and city centre

Location is great, close to everything. Great communication and questions are replied quickly. Next to main road so it was noisy as expected but after 10pm the noices calmed down.

Bed was super uncomfortable, we stayed two nights and I have really bad back aches, my partner couldn't sleep at all so he slept on the sofa the second night. There wasn't any shower gel or shampoo. Luckily a Sainsbury is only a min away so we had to go out and buy it late in the night. Shower head was quite grimey , needs changing or a good clean. The fire exit made sounds everytime the upstair neighbours came in and it was as if the door is being opened so kind of made us on edge. And the foot steps from upstairs are quite loud and you can hear them talking. The toilet door won't shut, so if you are travelling with a friend then it can be a bit of a problem. Even with a partner its not very nice. Instruction to take out the trash, normally wouldn't mind but if you are charging cleaning fees then it should be taken cared by the cleaners.

Location was excellent for travelling around York, walking distance into the city and a good choice of restaurants nearby. The apartment was comfortable and there was enough crockery/cutlery/utensils available and the washing pods in the cupboard under the sink were a nice touch.

Parking, although available nearby, was costly. The bi fold bathroom door was not good. It didn't always close fully from the outside and the lack of handle on the inside made it impossible to close once inside. No matter how close you are to your partner - you don't necessarily want to share your ablutions with them!

The bed was comfy. There was ample hot water. Walking distance to the racecourse and city centre. Handy for the train station.

The weeds growing at the front door. The filthy window in the sitting room. The lack of natural light. The tiny shower room. The bi fold door that is too big to close. Unable to open the shower door fully. The condensation stains on the walls. The fire escape door in the bedroom. The loose light switch in the bedroom.

A couple of small things but nothing that can’t be rectified

Convenient for the station and walk into the city also close to a stop for the tourist bus and shops and restaurants nearby

I expected the traffic to be loud as house is right on the road but the residents above were very noisy
