beautiful views, very clean, hottub was amazing & so relaxing.

during night a noisy fan/pump or something kept coming on waking me :(. Mattress was a bit arc'd rolling towards the middle.

Great peaceful location. Host Ewan is very helpful and very knowledgeable of his resort and surrounding area.

I booked this accommodation as a gift to close friends celebrating a special anniversary. It was quite pricey for a night, but very worthwhile as a romantic getaway, so rest assured no expense will be wasted on this place. Set on a lake, there are stunning views all around, and the self contained nature of each room/studio makes it feel very private, cosy, and bespoke. Only positive comments and mutual gratitude were relayed to me, so thanks to the hosts for showing them a great time! Traveller tip: you will need a car to get here, and if you're able to align your holiday with the 'Edinburgh Fringe' or other festivals such as 'Party At The Palace' (Linlithgow) then you'll be sure to have the best of both worlds: bustle and escape.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever been to. It was so modern and the views were to die for.

We got to use the kayaks whenever we wanted to and it was so peaceful and calming being on the lake.
