Northcote Lane Apartments - By Property Promise

Staff were very professional and attentive, providing clear instructions and quick responsiveness. The property is in a good location to City Centre and a range of shops and restaurants. There is a good amount of space within the apartment, we stayed five nights and it felt comfortable and well worth the price. Property feels safe and secure. There are three apartments in total, covered by CCTV. Pets were welcome for free, where a lot of properties charge an additional fee - which was appreciated for our stay. The property is showing signs of wear and tear. Some kitchen items pictured weren't available during our stay (frying pan, pepper, tin foil) and more basics (bin bags, toilet roll, oven tray) would have been a 'nice to have' - but, there is a Tesco around the corner from the property where we were able to purchase supplies. The area is residential and eighty percent of parking is permit holders only. The property cannot guarantee availability, but provides recommendations - which I found to be full for the majority of our stay and I had to drive around hoping to find a space elsewhere. It's tempting to park outside the apartment for loading and unloading. It is double yellows and during my five nights I saw several cars were ticketed - so try avoid the risk!

Very noisy area from about 6am

Very very noisy and wasn't clean. Bedroom smelled and the shower plumbing was quite bad. For the price we paid for one night it was not worth the money at all

Keys were easy to collect getting in and out. Property manager came to see me, he was very reasonable with me.

I would have liked the locks to work properly before arrival as I locked myself out and the property manager needed to change the locks which caused an inconvenience. It would have been a nice gesture to have a discount on my stay because of this.

Decor and cleanliness and Netflix and soft furnishings

Never enough mugs at property promise ! Every time we stay with them there are only 2 mugs . Even though one of the properties slept 6 That’s my only gripe . Only 2 mugs here , but it’s no big deal annoying theres no parking but this is explained in the listing
