Historic Location, Private Parking, Ground Floor Luxury Flat

Location was not good, wouldn’t walk round there at night, demolished site in front of apartment. Flat was in a 1980s block, access to car park was difficult and parking was nearly impossible. The flat was basic, no bedding for sofa bed, bedding in main room was not at a good standard, the fridge was brown inside obviously not cleaned properly and shower grouting was the same. Told the host he said he would send a cleaner the next day but that didn’t help us that night. Also he didn’t seem to understand that we hadn’t stayed as he kept sending messages and thought a bottle of wine would make us happy. Really not good

Loved the location! The flat was spotless, spacious and central.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property, only criticism was clear came to clean at 9.15 am and checkout was not til 10am.

very uncomfortable bed, environment is dark during the day as Venetian’s and windows cannot be opened. At night it is not dark enough to sleep being long days and there are street lights close by. The apartment is on the ground floor and parking for a large number of apartments is directly outside the windows. It was a Saturday night and lots of loud parties around us, clearly the windows are not double glazed.

The location was very good,easy access Aberdeen.

The flat was on an access road with continuous traffic, and parking was a free for all, when we arrived we couldn’t park and had to leave the car with a note on it with a phone number, fortunately somebody moved their vehicle later. We chose this flat because it suppose to be private parking, we thought it was allocated to the flat.

Location, parking and good shower.

Luxury it is not. My wife entered the apartment whilst I was parking the car. When she came out I thought she was not going to stay. It looks like a student let. The first impression is the dingy bedroom. The rotting blind was closed with light shining through the holes. It is not a good look. Because it is a ground floor flat immediately adjacent to the pavement the blinds need to be kept partially closed which make it dingy. It’s even dingy with the lights on. The flat is cold, the house manual implies that the control panel outside the bathroom is for the whole flat which it is not, it only controls the under-floor heating in the bathroom. The storage radiator in the lounge does not work at all. The storage radiator in the hall works but of course is not switched on when one arrives. The bedroom blind condition has been mentioned it was also inoperative and required fixing. The kitchen blind is not much better. The carpets are frayed and the upholstery stained. Cupboard doors are misaligned. The mattress and pillows are thin and worn out. The bedroom door handle has been bodged up. The décor is scuffed and chipped. There was dust on some of the surfaces. The towels are small, thin, frayed and have holes. There is no bath mat. The bathroom sink drains poorly and requires unblocking. The shower sealant is badly bodged up. Our priorities when booking were location, parking, dishwasher and decent shower. The advertised dishwasher does not exist which is misrepresentation. The photo’s are obviously old. The flat is in need of decoration, refurbishment and some renovation. It is expensive for what it is. We had a much nicer, luxurious, apartment in Glasgow for less expense. Luxury it is not.
