"Good location."

6.0

Location was good. It was a shame there was work being done close by as that woke us up quite early. However this isn’t the hosts fault, not something they could of helped.

A later check out time would be better. There’s nowhere in Aberdeen to leave your suitcase so we had to lug it around until a 3pm check in too. The toilet needed a bit of extra cleaning but other than that we were happy with the accommodation.

"Good location and off street parking, but not my definition of luxury."

6.0

Location and off street parking, bathroom and Kitchen were nicely renovated.

Bed was uncomfortble, sofa's were stained and carpet was worn.

"Warning, do not stay here, the place is disgusting and the host Stephen Westall is a con artist!"

1.0

I booked this property on 18/8/23 under the presumption the outside would look like the clearly fake picture on the website, however it looked totally different and was actually in a run down area. The fake pictures on their site showed a plush apartment and the listing called it a ‘luxury’ apartment. My check in date was 19/8/23. I had 2 babies with me and my wife, a 1 year old and a 2 year old. There were drug addicts outside the property, there was no bath for the kids, there were health hazards with low tables. There was loud music from bars and drunk people directly outside the front window making noise, not a place kids can sleep. None of this was told to me prior to the booking. My family and I had to leave immediately to go to another accomadation so we could bathe our kids and put them to sleep as we had arrived after 8pm. I asked booking.com numerous times on a daily basis from 19/08/23 to refund me for the full amount of £437.73, they kept telling me it was up to the person who owns the property, and he kept telling them no. I also contacted the property owner directly for a refund on a daily basis for the full amount from the same date also, because the property was falsely advertised, it is not safe for the kids and is not child friendly. He kept refusing and resorted to blackmail, bullying, threatening me and was very aggressive in his tone. Booking.com and the property owner then cheated and cancelled it as a 'no-show', and refunded me a £35 cancellation fee, but kept £402.73. However I did show up, I even sent them pictures of the inside and outside of the property when I first got there - I did not cancel because I wanted a full refund. We had to leave asap from when we got to the initial falsely advertised property and book a hotel which cost an additional £609. We did not stay at the first (falsely advertised) property for more than 5-10 minutes.

Flat was superb. Decor throughout lovely and clean Such a simple process to gain access to property directions and instructions spot on.

Had some difficulty regulating shower temperature,I text Stephen and he said he would get someone inspect the issue. (We were only there 2 night so no time to get this rectified within our stay) . Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable desperately needs renewing.

"Central location ideal for staying a night, but noisy"

3.0

Shower, TV, fully fitted kitchen, wifi and husband enjoyed the complementary bottle of red wine. (Thank you)

On arrival a strong smell what seemed to be cannabis could be smelt in the internal hallway leading to the living room, wether from previous guests or tenants above, we purchased air freshener to try and remove. Beds uncomfortable due to double bed having a bed end frame at the bottom so couldn’t stretch legs, very low and seemed to be a small double, ideal for shorter guests, the sofa bed frame could be felt through the mattress (sofa beds are usually all like this). A lot of traffic and pedestrians passing by so blinds had to be kept closed which made us feel closed in especially during the day, a male knocked on the window asking for money he sounded very drunk, a few pubs nearby on the corners. Unable to open bedroom window as large bin outside, another bin outside one of living room windows. Window cleaner came at 07:12am one morning and One tenant within the complex shouted at us for parking in a space. approx 7 cars could fit in the car park, so not everyone gets in. Fridge was noisy and wasn’t very cold after adjusting the temp. Pillows not the best very flat and cheap, ripped duvet cover. Attached photos, view from living room & kitchen, bins outside windows and bathroom wall funky eyes.
