Apartments No. 19

Suited our needs perfectly. 4 gal pals who wanted to spend time together nattering in very comfortable surroundings. Hotel attached for food and drink if we ran out of our own supplies!

If guests have mobility issues, then the property is most suitable inside, but there's a really steep climb from the village up to the property.

Location was good, it is a shame there is no view from apartment. The bed was comfortable and apartment was spacious enough for our needs.

Received keys from hotel reception, was not aware it was anything to do with the hotel. Check in was disrupted by having to pay again, having already paid booking.com. 4 days after my stay I am still out of pocket, was also made to pay an amount greater than the booking.com price I had agreed, and had proof of. This was non negotiable. Entrance to apartment is at the hotel kitchen door, which is also the kitchen staff smoking area, not great having to walk through this. Apartment was badly in need of a freshen up with marks over the walls, lino curling in the corners and lightbulbs out. There was damp and mold to two walls. We also found lots of black centipedes in the apartment, including one over an inch long in the bath, which was not there the night before. The bins still had litter in them and had not been emptied. There was no wifi in the apartment and little to no phone signal. The bedroom window was half blocked and could not be opened, possibly in to kitchen, the only other window is at the entrance, this is no use has curtains have to be closed due to kitchen staff passing bye regularly. There were no cleaning utensils to wash up dishes.

Fab location that meant we could all chill out together as a family. Four great bedrooms with one En suite. Had drinks and dinner at the hotel which was ideal.

The entrance into the property. My heart sunk when I opened the door. Would make a great games room or indoor hot tub area.

Its a funny place to find the satnav took us close but not close enough. The sitting room was rather dark with inadequate lighting which is why we appreciated the big table. The WiFi didn't work but we didn't really need it

2 rooms were doubles not twins as stated.

Big comfy beds , tvs in all rooms . Value . Good showers .

Need more powerful lights or more lights , property is very dim . Couldnt get WiFi connection to TV .Didn’t know it was part of a bigger hotel and didn’t feel a part . Not made aware of food and facilities available . But easy fixes and would defo come back .

Excellent apartment for family weekend, comfortable beds, nice towels, good showers, couldn't fault it, have stayed here several times.
