Smelly, run down, seems a bit of a scam. If you choose you to go with it, it’s set up for you to loose your deposit..

The property is 2 bedroom apartment, in a very quiet neighborhood. 5 min walking to supermarkets and tram line. The apartment is cosy and well decorated.

The apartment requires some cosmetic maintenance. For example some light bulbs were broken needed replacing. There were some signs of molds in main bathroom, not looks hygienic.

Good communication, lovely quiet location. A few minutes walk to shops, trams and some good restaurants/bars.

A bit tired. Needs a little tidying up.

Host was very good, very responsive and helpful. Apartment in a great location, easy to travel around and lots near by, but at the same time its a nice, quiet area. Plenty of space, great to have a big table in the kitchen to eat as a family. Great big telly in the lounge. Bathroom for each bedroom. Very effective heating system and hot water available as and when needed. Previous guests caused a couple of issues, but it was things out of the host's control and he did rectify as much as he could for us.

As has been highlighted in other reviews there is some cosmetic updating needed in two rooms in particular, kitchen unit fronts and one bathroom. It is cosmetic so everything is still usable, and have not doubt the owner will have a plan to get these done as other rooms are really nicely finished.

Location was good, but a bit difficult find.

Standard of furniture was poor quality. Floor coverings were trip hazards at door thresholds. One lamp out of 6 worked in the shower room. Common areas like entrance lobby and stairwells very dirty and need of refurbishment. Lift takes you to wrong floor.

Overall, the flat was lovely and my family and I really enjoyed our stay. It felt spacious enough for the 5 of us and the location is excellent to access many amenities. Secure parking was important for us since we drove to Edinburgh, and it was very convenient. I would definitely book again and recommend it. Very good price considering the options available.

Some cosmetic wear here and there, especially in the kitchen. The sofa bed didn't seem sturdy enough for my 2 teenage boys, so they opted to just sleep on the sofas instead.
