"Perfect stay for the lakes."

Great location and property. Hosts very responsive and super friendly, got the hot tub ready for us on arrival. Parking permit included so that was a great bonus. Would recommend this accommodation.

"We did have a lovely time but a few things could have made it better."

Location was excellent. Walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants.

Wasn’t aware of quiet time outside until booking paid for. Half past 8 curfew in a summer evening wasn’t ideal as sun was still out. No instructions for hot tub, jets didn’t feel particularly powerful. We did have earplugs with us but room above bedroom is noisy in the mornings.

"Not all it's cracked up to be."

The bathroom had recently been renovated to a good standard.

The kitchen was on the ground/upper floor. Main living area was down a steep staircase that you could not use without a light being on. The bedroom and sitting room were below the street level at the front of the house, so the downstairs was very dark. The Outlook from the kitchen wiindow was dire - derelict bungalow and all the waste from an empty Cafe. We were aware before our stay that the boiler had a leak.... a bit of an understatement. The bottom shelf of the cupboard housing the boiler was very wet as was the kitchen floor. There was also a leak downstairs which may have been caused by the boiler leak or by a heavy downpour overnight. Contacted owners to notify them of the issues and that we would be leaving early. No offer to refund the two nights we didn't stay. Parking is a 10 minute walk away. There is limited on street parking nearbt, but these are limited to 40 mins and there's no guarantee of a space to load/unload the car.

Fantastic location!

The hot tub wasn’t heated ready to use. There were no toiletries available in the bathroom. Could have been cleaner overall.

The location cannot be faulted. Right in the centre of bowness and within walking distance of all the key attractions. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance too. I had been slightly concerned about parking the car and finding space, but it never caused us an issue at all.

Front door from the street leading into the apartments didn’t shut properly. Bedroom was below a business that meant we were disturbed in the morning, sometimes quite early too. Hot tub didn’t have instructions and therefore the jets would not come on.

"Lovely little place with a hot tub and fantastic location."

Amazing property! Functional kitchen with everything we needed to cook at home. Bed was comfy and living room was cosy. The hot tub and little courtyard were a huge bonus and the location was super central. Right by plenty of pubs and restaurants. The parking permit was a great perk as it also covers Ambleside / windermere car parks etc which saves when exploring. Thanks for a nice stay!

The only thing that I would say was a negative is the noise from Kim’s salon but this can’t be helped.
