Drakes Wharf @ Royal William Yard

The host had contacted me prior to arrival and appeared very accommodating and pleasant. She had given me instructions to enter the property which were easy to follow along with photographs. The property itself had been well equipped including a washing machine, iron etc which was great and allowed me to put the sheets in the wash before departing. The property was very clean and smelled nice. There had been a food market just outside on the Saturday which was lovely. Easy to use coffee machine with plenty of cups and utensils. Super comfy bed. Great fan, nice long mirror and Netflix available on the TV. Great food options near by and able to get food take out delivered. Overall its a good stay, we just prefer something a little more comfy- I like to lay in bed on a Sunday watching TV and be able to do my work on the laptop and I couldn't do either of these things here. I hope they change the use of Wifi for future guests as this was a big problem given my line of work.

We had unpacked our bags and straight away did not like the property. We had thought it looked more like a university dorm room. The bed was in a section where you could not use the TV and had no service on our mobiles (service was very poor throughout the property). There was an option for Wifi which charged a whopping FIVE POUNDS an HOUR which was completely unacceptable. I need to use my laptop and work on it throughout Sunday's and was not able to do this as I refused to pay that crazy amount! We had booked and paid for three days, initially given that the host appeared very accommodating, I had sent her a message when we arrived and very politely stated that it was not for us, raised my reasonings and did not wish to stay the full 3 days as planned but was happy to pay for 2 nights (although we would only stay for one) and would find a new place the next day. She had then called me the next morning (with a completely different tone from previously) stating that someone would send me an email which was useless as it was just an automated email not addressing anything- I had told the host this, she then ignored me from there. She appeared only to be interested in when we were leaving (I think so that they could get double bubble as I would have paid for the accommodation then to get someone else in to pay too). She had been pleasant to deal with at first but that soon changed. She also arrived at the property to ask when I was leaving which I found rude as I had paid for three nights anyhow. The bed was very comfy but was a small double bed and I nearly fell out during the night. There was a pint of milk in the fridge which was out of date. The phone service was almost non existent which forces you to pay the five pounds hourly fee. Night time was loud as there was a pub under the property. The car park was small and well used so we needed to drive around a few times before a space had opened up. Only one small window in the dorm so was a little...

Fantastic location, beautiful accommodation with parking and great food choices and amenities at the facility. Cannot say enough good things about this property other than “highly recommend”

The apartment was spotlessly clean, cosy and parking was easy. Royal William Yard is a lovely location.

The apartment is on the first floor directly above a pub, which I hadn't realised when booking. The building is old with hugely thick walls, so the noise wasn't too bad. But on Saturday night there was some noise until midnight and Sunday lunchtime/afternoon there were lots of people outside, right under the apartment window. It wasn't a big issue, but for us I would have preferred somewhere with no pub noise. It's advertised as having a coffee machine, but there was no coffee for this.

I had breakfast in sacco bar fantastic love in there. I come from Plymouth so it always good to come I'm coming for week in June would i get a discount for a week.

Nice room in a lovely building in a great Plymouth location. Lovely bars and restaurants around and right by the waterside. Helpful staff did their bit when needed.

WiFi didn’t work first day but did get fixed. Some repairs and decor update needed in bathroom. Other than that all good.

Lovely location, lovely apartment, lovely hoasts with great communication and the pint of milk in the fridge a lovely touch. Thank you
