Edinburgh TWO BEDROOM apartment with free side street parking 24 hours

The apartment is on the High Street, Ideally situated for bars, good restaurants and shops. The Beach is a short 5 min walk and there is a regular bus to and from Edinburgh. The apartment is very comfortable and well decorated.

The property was very clean, cosy, well equipped. Situated in the heart of the town and very close to beach. Every where very accessible and great bus services to surrounding areas including Edinbrugh.

The only problem for me were the stairs up to the property. Recovering from health issue and mobility a slight issue found them bit challenging as they are not straight but go in a bend. This l think is no big issue if you have no mobility issues.

It was a tussle between choosing to stay at Edinburgh City Center or Portobello. Finally chose the beach (Portobello) and it’s been the best decision. This flat is located just 2 to 3 minutes from the beach. A cozy first floor apartment in an extremely safe part of Portobello. Surrounded by local pubs, restaurants, cafés and supermarkets. Everything you might want is just an arms length away. The beach front has some sweet restaurants and one can spend a delightful afternoon there enjoying good food and some lovely sights. Anne, the owner of the flat, was amazing. The flat was spotless and prepared so well for our arrival. I loved the coloured duvets and non-white towels. Everything was soft and luxurious. The whole flat feels like home - cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked up with varieties of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even some chocolates for us to enjoy! That was such a sweet touch by Anne. We especially liked the fact that the shower and toilet are separate. With 3 adults (our group) staying that made it so much more convenient. There were bath products left for us to use, lots of hot water with a powerful shower, a washer and clothes hanger and even an umbrella which came in very handy. Street side parking is freely available and the Royal Mile is just 10’mins away by cab. Please note the stairs to the apartment are wide and not as steep as some of the other stairways one encounters in UK! We loved our time here and would be happy to book again.
