Private Apartments at Jayakarta Residence

Location is about the only positive attribute for these apartments. It is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great coffee at Coffee Cutters across the road from the entrance. For the price you can get something better in the same or similar location if you are wanting to be in Legian.

The apartment is very worn and tired and needs updating. The fridge doesn't have a door on the freezer so anything in the top part of the fridge gets frozen. Although serviced each day, the level of cleaning is poor and needs to be reviewed including the towels which are well past their use by date. Beds are very hard especially the 2 single beds. Having 1 key for a 2 bed apartment is insufficient for families especially those with older children that may want to go and do their own thing however, unable to then get back in without a key. As someone who takes on reviews when choosing accommodation, I feel it is important to be truthful in saying that there are much better places in Legian to stay for the price you pay for this apartment. The ability to use the resort was handy but it too is old and tired needing major repairs in areas. The pool bar is expensive......go across the road to the beach for better atmosphere and cheaper drinks/food!

Close to the action in Legian. Very close to the beach.

One couch was very uncomfortable. Hot water wasn’t working for 3 days.

The pools were beautiful and the food was great.

We couldn’t use our ensuite shower as there was no water pressure and the water had a very bad odour.

The apartment was quiet and private and all fixtures were in working order. Location so close to the beach was also ideal

The apartment was a walk from the facilities which was a negative considering the heat. The room overlooked some sort of water treatment area and had a smell to it which could be smelt inside the room. For the price I expected a nice of view of a garden at least. There was only one key, at least two keys would have been appreciated as we paid for a stay for 6 people.

Smell and evidence of mould. Uncomfortable beds, poor ventilation, grime everywhere in bathroom, no view, within metres to noisy nightlife, disgusting kitchen kettle and stained coffee cups, sticky floor tiles and grey (once were white) towels in bathroom.
