Private Apartments at Jayakarta Residence

Large rooms, spacious. In a good part of Legian.

Beds were rock hard, towels stained and smelled awful, one bathroom had such low water pressure you could barely use it and the other smelt awful the entire time we were there. Cleaners would walk right into the apartment when we were there. The noise from the fat Buddha bar music was SO loud in the bedrooms until midnight every single night it was hard to sleep until after the band finished (we have kids so weren’t out late) You weren’t really part of the Jayakarta hotel at all - no info on if we could use room service or the dinners they held or anything.

Location of the apartment in the resort

Location is superb. So close to the beach, shops, restaurants, transport, and the access to the resorts facilities with pools, playgrounds, restaurant etc. Yet surprisingly quiet inside even though it is near the lift, which is handy. Spacious apartment is just perfect for families. Comfortable beds and clean sheets. Plenty of PowerPoints. Reliable wifi. Daily housekeeping.

The occasional funky smell, but hey, that’s Bali and I know we need to expect that to some degree. But the wooden cupboards in the kitchen emitted a pretty foul cheesy smell, and it sometimes smelt mouldy in parts of the apartment, which wasn’t pleasant. Towels were clean but some were stained and looked dirty.

Location. Held five people which was a bonus

No breakfast and the cost at hotel was very expensive. So was the dinner meals. The unit is located in the back of the building, along way from the pools and beach

We have been to Bali, particularly the Legian/Seminyak area, many times. The location was excellent and exactly where we wanted to be to walk to locations of interest or a quick taxi ride elsewhere. The apartment was neat, clean, and had everything our family needed. The resort had great pools, which kept the kids entertained, and the gym was decent enough for our 17yo to use.

Some of the beds in the apartment were quite hard, causing back pain, which made sleeping difficult some nights. The price of drinks in the pool bar was expensive when compared with other accommodation in the area.

Very neat and clean. Cleaning staff did an amazing job daily. The large water cooler/dispenser was fantastic, saved us a lot of trouble paying for and carting multiple large bottles of water to the room being a family of 4. We loved having two bathrooms and so much space in the whole apartment.

The music at night from the bar across the road was loud.

Location was great for our family. Space in the villa was fantastic for 4 adults. Would be great for family of 6

Good location

Didn’t match the description no garden or pool view as stated no bath as stated, bed my son was on had a metal bar through the middle not comfortable at all shower hose was split therefore no pressure, noise from above us was ridiculous, sounded like they were moving furniture at all hours. What’s app number provided for cleaner didnt work. Not enough towels provided most of the time.

Great location the size of the apartment was fantastic for a family of 5 and the facilities around the apartments were great

The property was old and tired the bathroom taps were so old and grubby I didn’t want to touch them.
