The main door of the apartment not safe as was struggling to lock it. The bed is tight with wire and making horible noise on each movement, smell of mould, dusty place and not clean

Great apartment, loved the decor. Welcome basket was brilliant.

As an older couple with aches and pains the stairs to the apartment were too much being on the top floor. The bed mattress could do with an upgrade as a dip in middle and the fact that you have to climb over to get out of bed being right next to a draughty window not good.

Very helpful owner, great location. Very cheap parking close by that the owner informed us of. Apartment was comfortable and the owners clearly try to ensure you have everything you need. A fabulous basket of food was left for us, plus milk and fresh bread and butter. Fully stocked kitchen, with washing machine. Lovely and warm, heating had been put on for our arrival.

My only very tiny criticism is it could do with a real thorough deep clean.

I couldn’t connect to WiFi which was kind of annoying but not the end of the world

The location of the property was great only a short walk into the main centre. was easy to get into the property by lock box outside. They left a bottle of white wine for arrival. Nice hot shower.

The WIFI didn't work, nor did the TV remote or the plug in heater in the lounge. The host did say we could go and access the router for the WIFI & offered a replacement remote & heater the second day but it never came, also would expect for this to be checked before we came. We both slept in hoodies as was cold in there even with the heating up. The sofas were very uncomfortable. The bed we thought was on the wonk so very uncomfortable to sleep on but realised it was actually the floor that's on the wonk, so it felt like the bed was tilted when you sleep in it, I felt like I was leaning into my partner the whole night. My partner ended up sleeping on the sofa bed the following night just to try and get a better night sleep. Also the breakfast included 2 cereal options, milk, some long life croissants, bread, eggs, tin of chopped tomato's & 1 small apple.

Bed and pillows not comfortable, windows were draughfty and very noisey, from the traffic, didn't sleep very well at all.

Good location, only a short walk into city centre. It was clean and tidy. Looked nice and a little quirky. Breakfast hamper contained a box of bran flakes, a loaf of bread, 6 eggs and 8 croissants, some fruit and milk in fridge, so generous for one night. Warm and cosy.

Some unnecessary furniture for small space. WiFi did not work despite being given several options. TV remote doesn’t work as per other reviews. Owner offered to get new batteries but we declined as were able to use buttons at the bottom of the tv itself which was fine for one night, however we tried other batteries and none worked so the remote is obviously broken and has been for some time. Rug very stained. Fridge door hung on wrong side so have to lean over top of door to access it. Shower cubicle very small with nowhere to put toiletries apart from the base but then there is no room to bend to get them. A shower caddy would help enormously. Not much room on toilet either so if you are on the larger side both that and the shower would be most uncomfortable to use. Bed looked nice but was incredibly creaky so any movement wakes your partner. Boiler in bedroom firing up all night too. Draughty windows and a lot of traffic noise (though I actually don’t mind that) but some might struggle with it.
