Central city 1 bed apartment

Breakfast supplied was good. Location was good . Host answered any questions really quickly. Could leave luggage there till our transport home was available

Only one towel per person . Bed was very soft. No ironing board in flat. Coffee machine was not clean and we could not use. TV remote control could not be used - I bought batteries for the remote but that did not resolve the issue.

A lovely space that I am very grateful was available last minute. I appreciated the kitchen being stocked with the basics and breakfast foods were very generously provided.

The bedsheets were a bit small for the mattress and kept slipping off. Lighting in the bedroom was a bit intense.

The location of the property is great with a short walk into the town. The hamper left is a really nice touch with a good selection of items for breakfast

The general cleanliness of the property is really not great. I was on the fence about submitting this review as I do not like submitting bad feedback but since returning from the trip I have come up in a rash with numerous bite marks on my arm the only thing I can put this down to is the mattress which was very old and clearly not been changed in years from the state of it so I have been a nice snack for bed bugs… There is mould on the outer rim of the washing machine and when opened the smell is quite overpowering. There is also mould on the walls in the bathroom and the shower head itself is riddled with limescale and general grime. The overall cleanliness of the property is just way below what you expect when travelling. With dust on surfaces, the microwave dirty from previous use along with the coffee machine and kitchen towels stained or just not washed… Heavy Limescale in the kettle and the area where pots pans are kept being generally untidy with the oven this put us off completely cooking at the property despite the lovely hamper left. The property is single glazed and near to a busy road however for us this didnt cause many issues but just something to be aware of as it was loud

Location was great.

Flat was not clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. The extra bed/ mattress had a big, stain on it. The host gave us the option to change apartments.
