Central city 1 bed apartment

The breakfast was lovely, the flat was well laid out and nicely designed and in a good location.

I had to change the bedding after my three year old daughter was sick. I found the mattress was stained a lot from previous guests which was off putting. I put the bedding in the washing machine but that did not work.

Very comfortable and everything you needed there for a few days stay.

Very nice. I will never forget it because for the first time in WEEKS.... I felt safe.

The fact that the apartment did not leak and there was wifi and a fridge

Every thing in the apartment was cluttered and very worn out, but the bed was appalling, it was broken, squeaked constantly and was so slumped that the two of us couldn’t sleep in it, so I chose the sofa bed, which was also broken and impossible to sleep on, so all beds were unfit for purpose, as it was all sloped and uneven. As for the toilet seat, it was broken, and was mentioned in reviews from months before, so not a recent thing. If you want to use the washing machine, there is no way to dry clothes, no dryer, rack or line, so we had to get up early to go to the coin op laundry. No plug for the sink, no can opener despite a can of baked beans included for breakfast needing one, oven seal was hanging off, and wifi didn’t work until the host brought a different modem. In all, unless you have no choice at all, don’t go here, it’s not worth any money.

Cosy and compact. In the city centre, very quite road to be on.

Boiler cover door didn’t close so you could hear the boiler running at night as the boiler is in the bedroom. Toilet seat broken which made sitting on it a fun experience. Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we got there but that got fixed pretty quickly as the WiFi router needed turning on in the downstairs flat which the landlord organised.

Lack of washing up liquid and tea towel.

The breakfast hamper and the milk in the fridge was very considerate. The location of the property is superb and central to everything you need when visiting the tourist spots.

The bed was uncomfortable and we got the feeling it dipped in the middle. Not a great sleep for us I’m afraid. The bed linen seemed dusty. The toilet seat was broken and could have easily been fixed. The sofa bed was hard to sit on. No tea towel to dry the dishes. No kitchen paper towel. No bin bags. Just these small things make a huge difference. The boiler cupboard door kept opening and it was a big cupboard door. Again that could easily be fixed. The apartment needed a good clean. You could see pots and pans, cups and plates weren’t very clean and light bulbs not working in lamps. The mirror in the living room was dirty. I saw there was a free parking permit for visitors when I booked the property which was a bonus. I did ask if this could be confirmed in a message and didn’t hear back straight away. However once the owner sent a reply with all the property information , we were told since the start of this year the parking permit had stopped and parking directly outside the property was free for a certain time and it was at your own risk if your car was left all day. We didn’t fancy looking around for parking after a long drive at night so we parked in a residential space on the road and moved the car very early the next morning to a space outside the property. Really could have done without that on arrival but at least we didn’t get a ticket. Maybe this needs to be updated in the info section about the property.

The apartment had everything we needed, the breakfast box and toiletries were an added bonus, really came in handy 👌
