The location was very good

For the price of the apartment they could have been more than 2 very small toilet paper rolls and a little bigger welcome pack of tea and coffee.

No where to place shower gel etc while taking a shower ie little shelf

Great place, right across the Shambles but in a quiet street that is tucked away yet in the middle of the city center. The apartment is in a beautiful old building. It was perfect for the three of us - there is a comfortable bed in the bedroom and sofa in the living room/kitchen area. Floor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch. Perfect location, M&S right across the street, great cafes and restaurants near by. Everything is within walking distance (York Minster, parks, Museum gardens). Highly recommend!

Besides the toilet paper and a small soap they don't really offer anything extra. You need to bring your own shampoo & body wash. They don't have any salt or pepper in the kitchen. There is a coffee machine but they don't provide coffee capsules. The description clearly states this so we came prepared but just as an FYI. Bring your own. :)

Nice location, they have everything you need.

Too cold water in the bathroom, you can’t fill in the bath tube with the warm water. You have to clean up everything after yourself, spent the entire morning checking if everything is okay. Check out at 10 and I do not understand why if I have to clean everything by myself. Check in at 4 pm.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL!! Apart from location this place was super hard to access individually let alone with kids. Hosts were really bad on coming back to me. 0 flexibility on earlier check in. Said they needed to clean even though the place was not clean. Doors super heavy and no stops for them, forget getting luggage, don’t even think about a pram. Stairs, no ramp access at all (what if you were disabled) construction works early every morning. Booked this via booking as thought it would be better, never using booking again as they are very poor in describing anything and are money grabbers. Airbnb it is for me. If I am going to pay £150 a night, I would expect I would’t have to take my own trash out or pay a fine otherwise. I would at least get some soap or shampoo and not only a tiny bar between three of us. Sheets would be changed the next day at a hotel, of course this being a glorified airbnb they would not. Basically an average Airbnb at the price of a 5 star hotel. Very poor, family with kids I suggest stay away.
