White House Apartments-Free parking 1 car per apartment

The place itself initially appeared wonderful. Unfortunately, it was not habitable due to the bug infestation. Lydia one of the staff was lovely in organising a move, although there were inconsistencies between staff.

1) The moth infestation at the first property and the denial that it existed until recently as looking at previous reviews, unfortunately this has been raised on several occasions spanning years. 2) The move to a new property which was not clean. The first property had been clean so I'm not sure why there was a discrepancy. 3) Their messages to me stated that once I sent my email they could change my booking for the following week (which originally I had booked at the moth infested property. However, apparently someone else booked the other property so they could no longer accommodate me there. At that point I said I would sort out my own as I had hit my last ounce of patience with the company. 4) Not a single offer of any compensation despite all of the ridiculousness (e.g. having to move property at 9:30pm at night, now having to lug all my baggage up some disgusting stairs etc). I would never use them again and I would also not recommend them to others. I have had cause to stay in York regularly over the last two years for work and I have never experienced something so diabolical.

The property was lovely and well decorated.

The cleaning was poor. There were broken blinds upstairs & down.

We liked the location House was spacious and well presented Bed were comfortable

Probably need to replace quilts, mattress , cushions as these were stained when we removed the bedding before we left to help the cleaner. Parking space is just 1 per apartment but if we are told a specific place on the drive it needs to be marked -A,B,C. We was just told there was 1 space for 1 car which was good ... but i didn't appreciate another car driver pipping their horn at the front of the apartment when my 4yr old grandchild was in bed because we parked on right hand side instead of left.

This place is absolutely beautiful everything you need in a house is there for you and close to everything in york even bus stop right outside

This was a really lovely flat, nicely decorated, clean with a nice spacious lounge and kitchen area and two comfortable bedrooms. Well equipped so we could cook and nice little extras to make it like home like an Alexa to play music. Easy to access on the outskirts of York by car and then we could easily get the bus from the bus stop right outside into York each day.

Can’t fault much about this property, although the white blinds didn’t block much light so needed eye masks to help sleep when the sun came up!
