White House Apartments-Free parking 1 car per apartment

House was much larger than expected with very comfortable beds! A short Uber ride away from the centre (or the bus stop is right outside).

Could have benefitted from more kitchen equipment

Excellent find. Overall, very comfortable and having free parking on the drive was a real bonus. The bus stops literally, right outside the house, and just a 10 minute ride into town. Supermarket and shops a short drive away. Great communication with the company beforehand.

No real complaints, but my shower didn't get quite as hot as I like it and the carpets are a but grubby.

Its location, a bus ride out of York with the bus stop just outside the front door. Also as we had a car, the car park and easy access to the ring road for day trips out of York. The location of our unit was exceptionally quiet.

The agents managing this rental were quite officious (don’t do this/don’t mark or stain the place etc or we’ll charge you) but as it turned out there were already stains on the carpet and some of the crockery/utensils were not particularly clean (and the oven tray was greasy). Given the tenor of the agents messaging, I expected perfection! Also, I appreciated the washing machine but there was no dryer. A clothes horse is too slow when you’re travelling.

The bus stop is literally at the front of the property - super easy to get into central York. Comfortable beds and perfectly clean. Great communication before arrival and were able to check in early which was handy! Ignore the others - the cooker and hob were very easy to use.

Could do with some more bowls or a general kitchen check to make sure there are enough items of each type for capacity of the house.

It’s location from the city centre the bed is comfortable clean tidy kitchen was well equipped The area was quiet, even though there was a main road outside. good to have your own parking space outside the property. Good Wi-Fi excellent information provided before our stay and the booklet inside the apartment was useful.

The grouting round the tiles in the shower naked some attention. the garden although a good size lots of weeds a feet high in the beds and there was an ashtray with cigarette stubs still in there and as non-smokers wasn’t very pleasant And the property felt a little cold inside as the temperature outside was quite good.

Location is good if you have your own convenience. 5 min drive to the city centre.

Although all was good. Just a small remark shower drainage was very slow.

Brilliant space, clean and homely

Information was communicated in advance and very easy to follow. Situated in quiet residential area. Access to staff 24 Hrs. Aesthetically pleasing. Well equipped kitchen. Private outdoor area accessed from patio door.

Bedroom with 2 single beds very small, one bed pushed up against radiator. Duvets not big enough for adults. Shower over bath hard to control temperature - burning hot, no nonslip bath mat. Grouting needs to be freshened up and sky light had peeling paint. Mouldy smell in bathroom. TV in living area and both bedrooms but no control for bedroom with 2 single beds so TV didnt work.
