The sofa was a little bit uncomfortable

Lovely apartment. So handy for York. Place was clean and plenty of room. Bus stop outside. Car parking outside which was free. Plenty to do around the area. There's a shopping park 5 minutes away.

Only small thing is the shower. Need to have some way of letting the steam out.

The house was clean, comfortable and mostly well equipped.

There were no oven gloves and not enough toilet roll. Also, the bedrooms need curtains or better blinds, they didn't block the light at all so we had to buy sleep masks to avoid being woken at dawn.

location was great for where we wanted to be and plenty of shops around to go to if you needed anything. there was also a bus stop right outside if you wanted to go into town and did'nt want to take your own car.

There was nothing to improve everything was excellent nice and clean everything you needed if you wanted to cook and the beds were so comfy. Would definetly recommend to family and friends and would book the apartment again.

The location is very handy if you have a car. It's not too far from the centre and there is a very nice playground around 5 minutes drive from the place. Kid love running down the corridor, fortunately the flat is on ground floor so no neighbour is disturbed in the process.

We had a little bit of an issue with getting the keys. I didn't know that a deposit is required to receive the code, and I tried phoning them, there's no one answering. Booking.com's app doesn't allow me to check the message in their own website. I had to open my laptop, fortunately I brought it with me, then log on to Booking.com to check message then to find out that the reason why we haven't receive key code was because of the deposite. It'd be better if they communicated in other ways as well, like a phone call or whatapp message.

The place needed airing, it felt like it had not been used in a while. Kitchen utensil were missing or off poor quality. E.g big frying was bad quality? Big pans missing that you could not cook for 6 people. No bread knife made cutting bread very difficult. Mould in the bathroom
