White House Apartments-Free parking 1 car per apartment

Good location and very spacious. The property was clean and had lots of extras like tea, coffee, sugar, some toilet roll, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials. Collecting keys was easy - it was a locked box outside the front door. Bus stop right outside the house which takes you to York centre. An information folder was provided which was very useful. Overall, the property was great value for money and exceeded expectations.

Location, cleanliness, responsive people, really well equipped kitchen, good oven, good microwave, good fridge and freezer, good wifi, good tv channels loaded and easy to use, easy parking, nice river walk/run nearby, no noise transfer from other flats so quiet, comfy beds, super easy self check-in.

Only very minor points but if I had to choose something only one loo roll provided and hot/cold shower controls were sticky I had to get my son to do it as he is stronger than me.

Nice common space to have breakfast and watch the news before going into York!

Towel racks for hand towels would be nice. I have given that direction feedback.

There wasn't any breakfast included in my bargain, so I wouldn't know anything about that. The location is very good to access York city centre and it's environs.

There is really nothing seeious sincerely. Maybe the televisions could be replaced with recent ones. The other 2 rooms upstairs may as well be equipped with TVs. In all, it is a home away from home and my wife/children testified to this also. We will surely call again very soon.

Stayed here for 5 nights in February with my son who had his 18th birthday and I wanted to treat him to a nice break. The flat we were in was very convenient and well maintained. Kitchen was well equipped. Excellent heating and a nice little garden with patio doors to it that we would have used if it hadn’t been 2 degrees outside! Heating did go off briefly as water company were doing work in the road but property manager was super responsive and on it. Was all back on the same day. Bus stop into York immediately outside and frequent service. Would stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you want a base in York. Also for any runners there is a handy little 5k run/ loop I found that was substantially off road straight from the door and through Huntingdon village then up the river crossing over to the other side and back down to just near Huntingdon school before crossing back over and completing the loop. Bring trail shoes if here in winter although I managed in road ones without falling in the river!

Amazing location - nice quiet area. Perfect size for a small family. Really easy to get a bus into York (bus stop bang outside the property). We had a great time and would definitely book again.

A few marks on the walls (which didn't affect our stay).
