Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of GBP 151 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

The apartment was well appointed and the interior design was beautiful. We had a very comfortable stay once again. The shower is fabulous. Just what you need after a day exploring.

A washing macjine would be great but I realise that there is not really a space for this. Somewhere to dry towels would be good, however.

The apartment is really lovely, well suited to a family stay where you can cook and be “home” while still exploring York by foot.

Kitchen cleanliness could be improved and the apartment was very dusty aggravating allergies. The heating alarm/sensor was also extremely sensitive and would go off with every use of the toaster.

Beautifully designed property with lots of comfort.

Sadly not up to the expected standard of cleanliness, which is such a shame given the beautiful design of the apartment and location. The bathroom smelt of rotten drains, dirty silicone and oh my goodness the loo brush! 🤢A green throw on the bed was dirty and the white marble worktops in the kitchen by the hob was very greasy and grimy! There was food under the sofa! The letting agent is not providing the standard to the customer or indeed the owner of this property. They thought the dirty shower was a “maintenance” issue and their response was “we will contact the cleaner”.

Excellent communication from the hosts pre-arrival. The flat is amazing and very clean. It had everything we needed. The train station is 5 mins away and the city centre is within walking distance too. We had a great time!

It was our first stay at The Holgate Snug but it wont be our last. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and it was a great location. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed.

"Great stay!"

Great location for exploring. Kitchen was excellent for cooking a family meal. To and sofa were great for a cozy night in. Parking was around the corner and was £11 per 24hours

The storage heaters vibrated when the heating was switched off
