Jones Beach Haven Studio - Kiama Downs Beachside Escape

Best stay of our trip Place is clean, close to the beach, hosts were amazing, gave us lots of great recommendations!

The location was a 1 minute walk to the beach. The host was so wonderful to pick me up and drop me off at the train station. The studio had a well equipped kitchen, including spices!

It was home away from home. The owners have thought about all the necessary details. It was very convenient on many levels - all the cooking utensils and accessories you need, plenty of towels, shampoo, bath gels, laundry with washing detergent, plenty of bins, comfortable beds, super close to the beach with views to the beloved Cathedral Rocks, and literally next door to the beautiful views of Minnamurra. It is a perfect location.

I suggest putting a splash back at the stove. We left the windows open and enjoyed the cool breeze and didn’t need to turn the fan on, as it was cooler evenings, but the breeze kept blowing against the blinds and that was noisy. We got away with it as we both had ear plugs.

As elderly couple bed against wall made it a little difficult to get in and out of bed

Great location, only steps to the beach, great hosts, easy walking distance to shops including a small but well stocked supermarket, a liquor shop, takeaway fish shop, pharmacy and two cafes. The room was a separate sleepout with laundry/bathroom and was one of the best supplied places that we’ve stayed at including a full kitchen, double bed, sofa bed, washer and dryer - fantastic!

Double bed was on rollers - hard to read in bed as kept moving. Without a car - there is a slightly poor bus service to get in and out of Kiama township and that does not run on Sunday.
