MSPC Chiado Premium Apartments

Plenty of room for the family and more than one bathroom. We wanted a central location and a different experience from staying in a hotel.

Outside of the apartment, the stairwell lights did not work on two floors. It was very dark. Even during the day. I think the light bulbs need to be changed because they worked on motion sensor on the other two floors.

Great location close to the all the shops and restaurants. Short walk to all the main attractions.

We were on floor 5 with lots of luggage. No lift so beware.

The room was available and instructions to collect the keys were provided prior to arrival.

The sink in the bedroom with the bathroom inside was clogged, water was not going down fast.

The apartment looked decent in the photos — which only made the reality more disappointing when we arrived.

From the moment we arrived, the bathroom was completely unusable. The toilet was blocked, the shower had fecal matter, and because everything was clogged, the entire apartment smelled like sewage — it was unbearable. The host never showed any concern for our situation, didn’t try to help, and instead blamed us for the problem, as if we had caused it. We ended up having to leave early because staying there was simply not possible. To make things worse, the host tried to hold us responsible for repair costs, even though we had nothing to do with the issue.

Great location. Easy check-in. Spacious. Super clean! The glass shower door was so clean I reached out to touch it to make sure it was closed!

The information I received before going to Portugal was that there was assistance to help make arrangements for travel to the airport, tours etc. However, there was only a business number available to call and they were not particularly helpful. And the shower in the hallway bathroom was not very good. The shower head was so high up and it sprayed against the far wall; not in the shower. I ended up using it as a handheld shower, which wasn't very good.
