SUNNYSIDE APARTMENT - Spacious 2 Bedroom Ground Floor with Free Parking In Kendal, Cumbria

The apartment was in a good location and parking was straightforward. The host was communicative and helpful. The apartment was clean on arrival and the host provided milk which was lovely.

The apartment itself is quite tired and it was difficult to ventilate. The bathroom was functional and clean, but the toilet flush was variable. The TVs are tiny.

Location was ideal

A bit dated and the outdoor space was overgrown

Quiet location, parking on site with a permit, spacious, plenty of hot water, local information available.

The apartment needs decorative refreshing along with some maintenance. The small outside garden area is looking neglected and overgrown, and windows needed cleaning along with the small table and chairs. Most disappointing was finding the mattresses were stained therefore need to be replaced, also the duvet was stained needing washing or, again replacing.

Wonderful location, opposite a park and just down from the Castle. Close to town, very quiet and peaceful with no issues parking. The apartment is laid out really well and is very spacious. Some lovely pieces of furniture and a homely feel to the place. It’s all on one floor which is great for anyone with slight mobility issues. Although for there’s a few steps into the main living area from the entrance room.

Querky flat in a beautiful old building. Marv upstairs was very helpful. Location is great for exploring. We walked to Burneside via Cunswick Scar and caught the train back. The Jolly Angler at Burneside was very cosy and right next to the station.

Bath could do with a plunging.
