Communication with the host was excellent from before arriving through to our departure.

I recognize that there was another group departing the same day as our arrival, but the cleanliness could have been better (false eyelashes on the floor, lipstick on pillow cases)

The location couldnt be better. We had no plans for Lisbon, but every time we finally looked something up we wanted to go see, it was never more than 600 meters away We had some friends going home after drinks twice, Uber was never more than 2 minutes away, even in the midlle of the night Most friendly rentors, felt like borrowing a place from a friend

Location, size, amount of light coming in, staff.

Could do with some fresh paint in some spots.

Great location in the middle of Lisbon's Old Town. The apartament was very spacious with e.g. a spare study, a massive kitchen and is located in an old town house. You get a lot of room for your money and the place has a lot of character too. It's nice to even just look outside and enjoy the old town streets in the evening! Air condition worked well, the whole area is lovely and there are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby, some shops as well (just mind the steep Lisbon streets - you need to have a good stamina to walk around the neighbourhood. Kitchen is fully equipped and if that's not your thing, there's a lovely brunch cafe literally downstairs. Communication with the host was fast, effective and very friendly. A small problem with building door was resolved very quickly, despite happening on a Sunday.

There was nothing I didn't really like. There are some minor improvements which could be made to make the place exceptional - a coat rack or hangers in the hall for instance would be great; a bit of maintenance like replacing the toilet seat, sharpening the knives and other finishing touches. None of them were a big issue though.

Pillows for the bed weren’t comfortable.

Interior, especially beds, were not comfortabel.
