If you want the true Alfama experience and not some tourist trap hotel, this is your place! Margarida goes above and beyond to help make your stay perfect, from being punctual for check in to providing an assortment of snacks and tips on places to go and things to see. There is live fado drifting in the open air windows each night from the restaurant on the square, a resident selling ginjinha from her stoop next door, laundry hanging outside on the line, and the hustle and busy of real people living everyday lives in the Alfama. Are the property and square outside silent? No. But you wouldn't be looking in the Alfama district if that was what you wanted. Close walk to most things. Grocery nearby. Bus, metro and train nearby. By far one of our favorite bookings ever.

Pobyt v historickém centru Lisabonu byl pro nás skutečně výjimečný. Apartmán je útulný, obsahuje potřebné vybavení a hlavně má skvělou lokalitu. Hostitelka je velmi milá - neustále posílala typy na místa, památky a výlety. Doporučila nám také některé lokální restaurace a byla ochotná s čímkoliv poradit. Lze jen vřele doporučit.

This property was a super place to stay, it had everything you could need. Margarida our host was very welcoming and gave us a load of information about Lisbon and where to go and do. When we go back to Lisbon we will want to stay here again. Thank you very much Margarida for a great stay.

Unbeatable position in a beautiful square , walkable to everything. Traditional accommodation at its best. We loved having the windows open and watching all the action in the square. The tips and suggestions from the host were such a help , and the welcome food/ wine a lovely touch.

A perfectly romantic spot. Tucked away in the historic heart of Alfama, this cozy and stylish little apartment feels like you're living inside the soul of old Lisbon. Fully equipped with everything you need, it’s just a short walk from Rossio and Cais do Sodré train station. Everything seems perfectly set up for a dream holiday. If you want to feel the true heartbeat of Portuguese culture and the charm of the old city, this is the place to be.

The spot in Alfama is a beautiful apartment in a picturesque location in the heart of Alfama. One little caveat which comes with the location is that in June there will be festivals in the street, so be prepared to hear noise sometimes until 5 in the morning. The host Margarida was super lovely, warm and helpful, always ready with great advice about activities to do in the city. Thank you for everything, we loved our stay!

No air conditioning - which normally would've been fine but should heatwave of 45 degrees come again, be prepared for some sweaty nights 😉

Really cute, cosy spot in a great location in the heart of alfama. Margarida was a really helpful and communicative host who was always available and offering suggestions to help us make the most out of our visit.

The only thing to consider (this wasn’t an issue for us as we were tired and slept well!) is that it can be noisy throughout the night as it is a busy area.

Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet so, dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Margarida ist ausserdem eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns viele Tips und Informationen für unseren Aufenthalt in Lissabon mitgeteilt. Die Lage in Alfama hat uns zudem sehr gut gefallen, das Quartier ist sehr hübsch. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten konnten wir ausserdem gut zu Fuss erreichen.
