The Spot in Alfama

A perfect gem of a place in the heart of the historical Alfama district. The flat is clean and cosy with everything you could need and more! The bedroom is small but still has plenty of storage and the bed is really comfortable. Margarida went out of her way to make me feel welcome and was always on hand with ideas and suggestions for my visit. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Lisbon 😊

Our hostess Margarida was amazing. You can tell she has taken great care in making the apartment comfortable and functional. From the little touches of having treats upon our arrival, multiple sets of towels, extra blankets and things like washing machine instructions in a logical place. The apartment was small yet very well organized. We would definitely recommend her apartment and stay here again.

Great location, exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Margarida is super helpful and welcoming host. Would recommend for anyone who wants to see the real Alfama.

Excellent location in Alfama. I loved the safe neighborhood - everything I needed was within walking distance. Margarida is an excellent host - she knows the city, surrounding areas, and Portugal. I would highly recommend staying at The Spot. If you're looking for a reasonable, nice place to stay in a safe area while in Lisbon, you will be very happy at The Spot. It is a small, clean apartment with everything you need for your stay; great wifi, tv, washer, kitchen, and microwave.

the location, the ambience, central to restaurants and attractions but quiet and peaceful at night. We appreciated the generous welcome gifts. Margarida was an outstanding hostess. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Thanks also to her grandmother for the very tasty biscuits. We had a great stay, albeit too short and we'll be back!
