A cosy place in the heart of the Mournes

Such a handy spot for beautiful walks! Emma was so friendly. Had such a peaceful relaxing stay with my dogs.

Fantastic location close to the mountains, forest parks and coast. Cosy place with everything you need for a couple of nights. Host were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and couldnt do enough for us.

Nothing to not like really.

Het ligt in een prachtige omgeving. Aan weerskanten van het huis begint een wandelpad, voelde als luxe. De hosts zijn zo aardig en behulpzaam, we voelden ons meteen thuis. Ook de buren zijn top! En het bed ligt erg comfortabel. Met een kruik erbij, zo leuk.

Het huisje is op zich basic wat totaal geen probleem is. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Als ik iets moet noemen , dan had ik het fijn gevonden als er iets meer raam/uitzicht was. Maar we hadden fantastisch weer, dus lekker buiten voor het huisje gezeten, en in een deel van de tuin. Wat heerlijk was, het enige geluid daar zijn de vogeltjes.

The charm

Maybe the old oven! But it didn't really bother us.

it is self catering - we liked the indoor wood burning stove that was very efficient and kept the cottage warm as sadly the weather was rainy and cold. The location is in the country with walks in the local forest ranges available without having to drive on the doorstep which I liked - the nearest big town with restaurants is a ten minute drive away
