Alfama Patio Apartments

Spacious apartment. Good beds. City center.

The wine bar with high bass music right under the apartment works until 2 am. The living room was very messy with crumbs on the floor. Only one physical door key. Very cold floor in the kitchen and the bathroom.

It is an amazing location. A few stairs to climb so don’t bring a big suitcase ! The floor is a bit creaky but it is a heritage building so it is to be expected.

Noise from the bar downstairs and outside does travel upstairs but we were so tired it didn’t bother us too much

Cute and spacious apartment in the heart of Alfama. The apartment was very clean when we got there. Two bedrooms with comfi beds, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, patio and living room. Good wifi. Situated just above a cutesie wine bar. So chill to just sit by the window and watch the people in the street go by. We loved that there is a washing machine (detergent provided) which makes it easier to travel light. We were there in November and the temperature in the apartment was great, we did not use any heating. The self check in was easy and the communication with the host was perfect. The downstairs door needs to be slammed to be closed properly, sometimes I felt bad for the noise for the neighbors. There are so many bars and restaurants in the area and everywhere we went, people were supernice and the food was good and affordable. Easy to catch and Uber anywhere, walk to the train station in 5 minutes or just walk anywhere. The area is so gorgeous and safe, also in the evening. Thank you Sandra for having us!

If you are easily disturbed or annoyed by noise, this is not the place for you. There is music from the bar downstairs every day from morning till 2 AM and the walls are just very thin so you van hear everything from your neighbors (even just conversation). We did not mind at all though and we were not bothered by it (we live in a noisy city and are used to it).

No windows

How close it was to central and was able to walk around alfama and Lisbon attractions. Was also close to the station where can get trains, buses and Lisboa card. Comfortable stay with nice living room and beds

Le bruit Celui de la rue est compréhensible, mais les logements sont très mal isolés. Les autres locataires font du bruit en rentrant tard. Surtout la serrure de l'entrée principale qui mérite d'être changée : il faut la claquer très fort à plusieurs reprises Cela fait beaucoup de bruit Et comme il y a beaucoup de passage, cest incessant et ça reveille la nuit Attention, impossible d'utiliser le grille pain (cela fait sauter le disjoncteur)
