Alfama Patio Apartments

The outside seating area, large comfortable bedrooms and location is fantastic.

It can be very noisy at night and as there is no aircon can get very hot. One of the rooms does not have windows to the outside.

The apartment was pretty much as in the photos.

It was very noisy, from about 6pm until early morning. We had to deal with significant leaks, things not working, and not being able to check in on arrival. Not the relaxing time had hoped for.

The property was clean and overall comfortable. All correspondence and communication with the owner was clear.

The single biggest issue was noise. It wasn’t clear that the property is directly over a bar and the music didn’t stop until 2am. On top of this, whilst we were asked to be considerate about noise we generate in the flat (walking around on hard floors etc), the people above us clearly didn’t get the same message. We ended up leaving early to go to a hotel to get some sleep.

The apartment is different then expected. It’s very dark and narrow. You will hear the music from the bar downstairs. It starts at 6 pm till late midnight. You can hear the people talk. One of the bedrooms has mold on the wall therefore the air quality is poor. The apartment smells bad due to this. I wouldn’t suggest to stay here.

Comfortable

The property was good but it wasn’t the property we originally booked. We got sent to it at the last minute.

The location, it was close to all key attractions in the old town. Also, the place was clean and well equipped.

The bedrooms were small. The staircase was a bit narrow and steep. Noticed a pair of 🐀 in the open balcony late at night. They weren't a nuisance though. Had a bit of trouble checking-in because the rental agency had additional requirements which we missed because we weren't checking emails/booking dot com app.

Unfortunately, the bedroom has no windows, which made it very stuffy and impossible to sleep Even though the hammock was removed, it was not in the facility
