Alfama Patio Apartments

Huge, spacious apartment right in the heart of Alfama. Fully equiped kitchen, washing machine and washing line. Lovely tiled bathroom with a huge shower. Easy to walk everywhere! Less than 10€ for an Uber from/to the airport each way.

Definitely needed earplugs

Sehr schöne Wohnung in einer kleinen Gasse in der Altstadt, Bahnhof in Gehweite, ebenso zahlreiche kleine Shops, Bäckereien und sehr nette Lokale. Die wichtigsten Punkte in Lissabon sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar.

Die kleine Weinbar unter der Wohnung ist leider durchaus zu hören. Ich vermute, man kann da freundlich intervenieren (so schlimm war es dann aber wieder nicht).

We loved the location! It was right in the thick of things. There was always something happening on the street and despite being right above a bar, the bedrooms were quite well soundproofed. We were able to sleep just fine. Corner shops, good restaurants and friendly bars were all on our doorstep. The flat itself was perfect - clean, had everything we needed, including an outdoor shower on the terrace, that came in handy on hot afternoons. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that niggled was that there was some work going on in another flat in the building. However, they didn't start noisy work till after 9 am, which helped.

Great location in the old town easy to walk everywhere to the centre and all the sights It’s hilly but if your fit you can do it by foot or jump on a tram

As expected its right in the centre of the old town so it is busy It has a lot of noise at night music from bars and people so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to street noise

Nothing

There are good elements to this apartment, but they are cancelled out by the incredibly loud noise nuisance from a wine bar at the floor below. Clearly, no one could live here on a permanent basis. We left FIVE DAYS early to get away from the very loud music and very loud late hours conversations. The owner replied to complaints with disingenuous comments, weakly attempting to hide their lack of concern for their guests. Very disappointing.
