Top Alfama Appartment

Great location, clean and comfortable. Close to transport and good restaurants

Good location in the Alfama and from the train station. Clean, compact, modernised and soundproofed well. Good cooling and ventilation. Our host was very good communicating throughout.

Very small bathroom facilities. Steep stairs on entry. Could not use the wardrobe..full of apt stuff. There is a potentially dangerous step up/down between the lounge and the kitchen...we put a flowerpot by the door to remind us of it. Bedroom cabinet needs fixing.

It should have been straight firward. But we only received the code details as we arrived. Given that mobile reception can be intermittent, I would recommend sending codes a day in advance.

A few hours before we arrived I received a message saying that a blind in the apartment was broken and that it would be repaired asap. We arrived to find it was the bedroom blind which was overlooked by an apartment no more than 8ft away. No one came to fix it and it had the appearance of being broken for sometime. Otherwise the apartment was very well appointed. Whilst the location is convenient to both Alfama and Lisbon, during the month of June this area is a party zone. So, be prepared to negotiate streets full of revellers from 7pm through to the early hours.

Location in the center, nice decorations, coffee capsules and washing machine capsules provided, clean space.

Window blind in the bedroom was broken, very little toilet.

It was decently clean. Old Town is characteristic.

Way too small for a family. You can barely enter the bathroom. Massive gap on the floor when you get in, makes it very VERY dangerous especially with children. Stairs to get upstairs are hugely steep. No parking around as it is in the middle of historic town so no taxi comes around. The host overcharged us for tourist tax. It is really overpriced for what it is.

Historical old town with a bus station very close to the accommodation. The flat is modern and cosy. It was great that we could use the AC as it was a little bit cold (we visited Lisbon in February) and also that we could use the kitchen corner to cook.

I was a bit disappointed by the cleanliness of the bathroom (especially the shower: black stains and the water was not flowing away very well through the drainage).

Has a wonderful homestay feel without having to share! Is in a lovely traditional neighbourhood. Easy to find. Easy to walk to main city centre areas. Helpful to have a kitchen and washing machine after being on holidays for a long time.

Would benefit from a few small upgrades but it doesn't effect a comfortable stay. Eg. Drains very slow to empty; clean but not spotless.

The location, the interior

Great location. Central, but quite. Appartement is quite small-but all you need is there. Suitable for a Family of 4, not so much for 4 adults.
