Great location to stay with 1-2 persons. Just keep in mind it is a very bustling street next to, since it is right in front of the famous "Mercado" So in case you're sensitive for noise -> think twice. The kitchen had some basic equipment for everyday needs.

Personally I really liked the rather hard bed. But it's a side note worth to mention, as maybe others prefer it more soft. And you need to be a little flexible for the small bathroom (and not too tall) ;)

Everything went very smoothly. We were contacted in advance about the key handover, which was also very pleasant. Sofia is very welcoming and gives lots of tips and recommendations. We felt very welcome. The location directly at the market hall, in the old town and only 5 minutes to the bus to the airport are just great!

I'm not officially deducting points for this because it's very individual, but the bed was very uncomfortable (you could feel the springs) and too short for us. You shouldn't be taller than 1.80m. The same goes for the bathroom: the ceiling is very low and we couldn't stand upright in the shower at times. But that was ok for the shortness of our stay.

Central location, clean, air condition unit fully functional and a well equipped kitchenette. The host Sofia met me on time at the property and was very helpful.

Fantastic location by the old town in the centre of Funchal. The company rep - Sophia - met us on arrival and was very welcoming. She gave good advice about the city and was on hand to deal with any problems. Very impressed.

The apartment is up two steep flights of stairs. Not a problem for us but more elderly/infirm may struggle with this.

This apartment had everything you need: cooking appliances, washing machine, fridge and a terrace to drink coffee in the morning. But the best thing about it, is that is close to all the restaurants and big supermarket. We were very happy with this place.

Great location, apartment is clean and comfortable. The host (Sofia) is very kind and always ready to help.
