if you have any issues with bugs i wouldn’t stay here, there was an insane amount of ants in the living room/dining area and kitchen. i even found ants in the kettle when i went to use it. Along with a few silverfish i saw in the bedroom.

Lots of things needed repairing but when we told them nothing done

La ubicación muy bien, céntrico y cerca de las salidas de carretera para las excursiones. Es un apartamento bastante completo y cómodo, con una cocina con todos los electrodomésticos muy nuevos, menaje adecuado y tendedero, una terraza con vistas al parque municipal y con dos butacas, baño completo con mampara, aire acondicionado y posibilidad de parking con acceso directo al edificio.

El acceso a la plaza del parking no era demasiado bueno y la plaza estrecha, menos mal que casi siempre estaban vacías las de al lado. El colchón para nuestro gusto muy firme, pero eso va en gustos. Había bastante ruido en el exterior, incluso por la noche. Los coches suenan mucho en ese tipo de suelo. Tuvimos que dormir con las ventanas cerradas, afortunadamente aislaban bien. Nos cobraron una tasa de salida de limpieza de 10 euros con la que no contábamos, o al menos yo no la vi en la descripción del apartamento (nos avisaron el día del check-in).

The bathroom is old and poorly maintained. The location is the best part of the apartment. There is enough space. However, the host did not clearly communicate all the costs in advance.

It is a great house, right smack in the centre. Easy to get to everywhere. They have all the gadgets. Kettle, coffee machine, fridge, toaster, owen, microwave. Great service as I asked for an airport transfer as well. They picked me up, gave me the keys and whenever I needed help they immediately answered

The only issue is that you need to check out before 10. But we handled it because they stored my bag somehow until I left

Location in the middle of city is great

Don't expect comfort in this appartment. The bed is ROCK hard. Beds in Madeira are hard in general, but this was a whole other level. There is absolutely no sound isolation in the appartment, so expect to hear everything that is happening outside (cars, people talking, discussing, etc). This combined with the rock hard bed made it a bad experience that does not promote recovery from the activities in Madeira.

Brilliant quiet but central location and views of the gardens. Feels like a well-kept, tastefully done home of your best friend more than it does a rental apartment.
