Montello Guest House & Apartment

The location is great, I found it easy to find something to eat and to get to where my tour met. The room offered plenty of space and I liked having espresso available in the morning, in addition to the provided breakfast.

The Wi-Fi had a couple of hiccups but I managed to get all of my things done.

The room was spacious and with a balcony.

The bathroom had a defective shower with two shower heads that had no pressure and worked only both at the same time. We paid to have a room with breakfast included but at the location only one small expresso and croissant was included in that. No free drinkable water at the property. Only one shared water filter can between the rooms of the location that cost 0.50€ per use.

Everything is good..beds are comfortable, private bathroom is clean and there is everything we need.. kitchen is enough.. thanks to Daniel for his suggestions

It is a room in an apartment located little bit far from the center but nice neighborhood. We parked our car on the street without any issue The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Self check-in is really good because you can check-in or check-out anytime, it's very efficient, especially if there are some unexpected changes during your trip (for example, a change of flight to another airport like in our case). We appreciated the self-bar with cold beers when we arrived after a day's train ride, and Pierluigi also provided us with a great list of recommended places for breakfast, dinner, drinks, etc., so we discovered a really nice cafe nearby for our breakfasts. :) He was also always helpful via whatsapp. It's not a problem to store your luggage here after checkout, but we didn't need that in the end because we had to leave early in the morning. The location is good, there is the metro and train station nearby and also the nice city beach San Giovanni Licuti.

Everything was great, I only have one recommendation... we would have liked to have sorted all the rubbish dutifully, but we were missing some of the bins for sorting waste (I'm not sure which one it was, maybe paper?)... Maybe some are shared , but since sorting rules vary in municipalities, we weren't sure what the correct way was, so I would appreciate maybe better marked bins (some were barely legible) or some info on what I can put where.

Pierluigi was great at communicating self check in & out instructions, providing recommendations etc. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you'd need even though we didn't use much during our short 4 day stay. It's spacious and well decorated, everything is as shown in the pictures.

Very friendly host . He gave us the best info for beaches ,bars etc. The Apartment is nice with everything you need.

It s a bit far away from the centre. You need 20-25 min walking. There is a Metro Station reight near the Apartment. Parking too near costs 20euro per every day.

We stayed in the apartment. It was big, spacious, kept cool during the heat and we found it to be clean. The decor is right up my style resembling a industrial/art deco design. The owner was present at our arrival and he kindly gave us suggestions on what to do and where to go in Catania and the surrounding areas. Overall a very pleasant experience!

A small suggestion for the future, the place could have had some hand soap in the bathroom and a good knife in the kitchen :)
