Lux Apartment in Gatwick

It was clean and had everything I needed - and more. The hostess was amazing and so warm and welcoming. The airport is just 10 min by bus or walk 15 min, Will book again and would recommend

Comfortable bed. Decent shower.

Door code not sent as advised. I had to phone for code. 1st code wrong so 2nd sent. Lux apartment would imply luxury but it wasn’t. Building on industrial estate (ex office block conversion).

The area was quiet and felt safe.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. Didn’t like the shower. It had half a door. I’m not used to that lol

The apartment was not cleaned, we were able to move in much later. Promised in the description of the fireplace and terrace overlooking the garden - no. Of the complimentary toiletries, there were only two empty tubes, apparently from previous tenants. There was nothing to even wash your hands from the road. For two people for 12 nights we were given only two towels. But two ironing boards and no clothes dryer. There was only one blanket, instead of the second, two days later we were given a plaid, without a duvet cover. 1 bedroom, living room and kitchen are all one room. There are a lot of technical malfunctions in the apartment, the owner apparently does not deal with it. The furniture is old except for the kitchen.
