The apartment was lovely. Very nicely presented. It was situated in an area with lots of great food shops/take aways.

We couldn't get into the apartment for 20 minutes. We weren't given enough details or the correct pin. The locks on the maindoor were difficult (when we eventually got the key). We couldn't get any assistance. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain, so that was not pleasant. A dust pan and brush would have been handy too. The side light was broken, so there was only a big light.

I had booked this property but on arrival I was told it wasn’t available and I was sent to another smaller one on Victoria Road. It was much smaller, had only one main light and was not worth the same as the other. I was not offered any refund for the inconvenience:

Comfortable bed, TV in room. South side nice area of Glasgow with lots of nice cafes and a park a short distance away.

Got a message about an hour away to say our original booking was cancelled. No reason given or alternative offered until I rang up and requested. Apparently this was due to an issue with the fire alarm system and we were given an alternative place to stay around 5 minutes away. Alternative apartment was very bare (not even a mirror or coat hook), cold, dusty and random bits left in the fridge / freezer. We noticed the fire alarms were all detached so not sure what the point of moving apartments was. Was also on the ground floor with bedroom window next to the street so didn't feel that safe. Booking.com did arrange a refund however found out afterwards we could've stayed somewhere else and had the difference refunded, which would have been preferable.

Security. On last night another set of guest accessed our room with our code as they told this there so both parties confused. As only get codes after 2pm on day of arrival. So surely they should of known new arrangement. Made us feel unsafe at night and slept very little. Also offer of clean towels for the 3 days.

We didn't get to the property because there had been a fire! The booking was cancelled by S. H. apartments and payment must be reimbursed.
