Centre Apartment Grotte Bianche 2

The apartment was great, perfect size! We did a workation so we had to work 2 days out of 4 nights, so we were concerned about the internet before arriving. But as the host told us the internet was working quite well, only in the kitchen tho but we could still sit 2 people there and work perfectly (the internet speed was around 100mbit, and sometimes even faster!). Location is amazing, close to the center and the Chiosco Giammona nearby is amazing.

Only thing we didn't like was the bed, the mattress was way too soft, so it was quite uncomfortable to sleep on.

Sono felice di aver scoperto ed inaugurato come primo cliente questa nuova struttura confortevole, ottima per due persone anche se ero da solo, letto comodo, bagno top, ed ambiente pulito e cucina dotata di tutto anche se non ho usufruito. il titolare Simone gentile mi ha offerto della frutta, la colazione e la tassa di soggiorno, e gli auguro che questo primo inizio gli porti tanta fortuna a presto da ritornare

Central location, a few steps away from via Etnea. Good size for the apartment, including the bathroom and the kitchen area.

The apartment is on the third floor and there is no lift. We didn't care much because we just had a rucksack, but could be a challenge with trolleys or with guests with reduced mobility. I don't remember if this was mentioned, but for sure we didn't recall knowing. Also the bathroom at times had a strange smell.

Breakfast was the standard continental type breakfast which is to be expected for the price and the location. The room and facilities were clean. The host was very friendly and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location was near the historic centre.

The accommodation is well equipped for short and for longer stays. It was very clean, the communication with the host was very easy (self check in). The bed was very comfortable, enough pillows, blankets and towels were provided. The kitchen and the small balcony provided additional comfort during the stay. The location is good for exploring the city and sightseeing (max. 15-20 walk). The nearest bus stop (Piazza Trento) for rides from and to the airport is 5 min away (Alibus). Villa Bellini and Via Etnea are also in 5 min walking distance. To the main train station it is about 15-20 min by foot. We can definitely recommend staying here.
