We liked the location, starting a block away. The street the apt is on it's a little scary. The main room is nice and so is the kitchen.

The building is awful. There are 3 sets of steps stairs to go up. The bathtub is slippery, without any handles.

The bedrooms were comfortable. It was walking distance to most attractions.

Had to carry luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. Ugly facade but Ok on the inside. The host lives off-site so we had to wait outside on arrival. The bathroom needs renovation.

Great location and well set up.

There are lots of stairs to get to the apartment. Alfonso met us and organised his friend to come and help us get our luggage up all the stairs, which was great. The location offset the stairs though!

The apartment is exactly in the centre of Coimbra, you can easily walk to everywhere. Plenty of restaurants around for different kind of food. Small supermarkets are close, for a larger supermarket you need to cross the river and walk around 1.5km. The host was super and was flexible with handing over the key. They have a permanent place in a nearby parking garage, with a key-card you can come and go. Just ensure you have a small to middle size car ;-) Initially we heard some dance music beginning of the evening but the environment is during the night dead quiet.

The apartment is on the third floor and you have to drag your luggage up & down a small staircase. It was not really possible to make the rooms dark because of having only rollo's in front of the windows and no curtains or so.

Amazing apartment! Carlos who met us on arrival was top class - showed us the parking spot, helped with the bags, provided clear instructions and advised us of the places to visit and dine at. Good communication from the host. Very clean apartment and didn't lack anything.

Nothing....wish we had stayed longer!
