Luxury Apartment Via Genova

We were in apartment with 2 beadrooms. Flat is 10 min walking from train/bus station and very clouse to all main atractions of the city. 5 min from the flat is small local market and Lidl. Neighbourhood was quiet but as the flat is clouse to Via Roma sitting on the balcony you can hear the traffic a little bit, but inside the flat is quite. Smaller beadroom do not have window, and bigger beadroom have window overlooking the dark courtyard. The flat is clean and eqiped with all you need - hairdrayer, kitchen utensils, coffee, even rusks and jam. The owner is very nice - welcome us with canneloni, and let us chceck out a bit later.

The owner, Daniela was amazing and very helpful. We got a lot of recommendations where to taste good, local, cuisine. Of course we used them and every place was worth to try! We were surprised by “welcome snack”, we got canolli and water - so nice! The apartment is in perfect location - city center but not very noisy, it’s easy to get a bus to other cities or beach. The apartment has everything what you need for a short stay. If you want to cook you can, but in very simple way. Only a bit disappointed thing was lack of cafetière, there was only capsular express.

Great apartament, great host. Everything that is needed is there and even more. We were wellcomed by shortbread, canollo delicious jam and coffee. The bathrom is very clean as well as the rest of the house. The air-condition works perfectly well.

Well, it is hard to say, because from the host and apartament itself there was nothing to be complaining at. The only thing that may a bit disrupting is the neigbourhood: from the early morning there were people shouting and working at a construction site nearby. And late in the evening they were disposing the garbage. But the bedroms are located far from the street window, so it wasn't really a problem.

Great location nice and close (but not too close!) to main sights and attractions. Comfortable and clean. The host is fantastic - so friendly and had plenty of really useful recommendations and tips for our stay, and the welcome basket of Sicilian treats was appreciated! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Palermo.

Basic breakfast items provided, bread, biscuits, coffee, juice, water, jam etc. Kitchen was well equipped with oven and hob, coffee machine, kettle, large fridge and full sets of matching crockery, glassware, and cutlery. Bathroom very modern and clean. Washer/Dryer. Air conditioning worked well

A plug for the kitchen sink is needed in order not to waste water and a couple of sharp knives for food preparation would have been helpful. By way of a caution - the water heater was turned up to 80 degrees when I arrived. This is scaldingly hot !! It turned down easily to a manageable temperature by just pressing the obvious button.

Daniela is a very kind and helpful person with great hospitality. The apartment was clean and easy to check in/out. It was a pleasure to be there!
