The Normans Apartments

This is a wonderful apartment, so spacious that even though I booked it, it surprised me when I arrived! The lower floor has a kitchen, dining area and living room with two (!) balconies, and upstairs is the large bedroom and the bathroom. When I arrived (very easy, great communication with host Giulia to let me in) it was spotlessly clean, even surfaces that can sometimes be forgotten - for instance I hung up my shower mitts over the top of the shower cublicle and there was not a speck of dust on them. I was welcomed with a bottle of water chilling in the fridge and a coffee machine with pods, plus other thoughtful items (mosquito killer, toiletries, and perfectly for the hand-luggage-only traveller: scissors! I wish every place thought of that). In fact there were thoughtful touches everywhere: electrical sockets by the bed, a big surface in the bathroom for toiletries and make-up, lots of shelves, lamps and mirrors exactly where you'd put them yourself. Locationwise it's right opposite the royal palace so you get a great view from one of those balconies, and it's a five minute walk from a train station (you can catch a train to the airport from there). You can get to the cathedral and large tourist area through a beautiful park just opposite, and there are a number of restaurants and a bakery within a few minutes' walk.

Please note that access is via two flights of stairs, so something to bear in mind if that is important for you. (There may be a lift, I didn't look.)

Giulia was so friendly and helpful. I cannot rate her hospitality highly enough. Great location near the Norman Palace. It was also a huge room. Great value.

The mattress was a little hard but it was not a big deal.

Lot of space, great bathroom, perfect location

As it's a 2-floor apartment, some related features cause inconvenience. Stair is very rough, it's painful to walk it barefoot. Also, light controls cause you to make an extra ascent-descent in some cases.

location is perfect, very close to the main places of interest, restaurants, opera. and at the same time not so cloudy and not so much noise in comparison with main streets. very easy check in and check out everything was good

It is a very spacious and comfortable apartment, fully equipped, on two levels. From the both balconies, it can be seen the Norman Palace, which is right near. So, the location is great!

The bathroom is at the upper level, so, if you stay in the living room, you have to go up for it.

The Normans Apartment offers comfortable rooms in a fantastic location right opposite the Palazzo Reale. Check-in and check-out could not be easier and communications throughout were straightforward. I felt very welcome and was grateful for the kind hospitality and help I received.

Friendly helpful hosts. Good location although not always quiet.

Over 35 stairs to the apt that were steep!! Very difficult to manage potty breaks for our senior pets.

It felt like at home away from home. Whole apartment was spacious, had 2 balconies, bed was super comfortable. Kitchen had all the equipment needed and coffee machine with great coffee capsules. Guilia went extra mile with welcoming me and amenities in bathroom were more than essential. What I would like to highlight was the location to train station and main street, literally to get to the cathedral, you just need to walk through this magical park, 3mins! I cannot recommend it more.
