"Wouldn’t stay again, all 4 of us left with sore backs."

The location was great and it was clean

The mattress’s are hard as rock. There’s no air flow through the property with no aircon or ceiling fans. Shower head is terrible and can’t handle the water pressure

"The Disappointment of smell, out of apartment owners control, however a factor which spoilt stay"

Location was good and the view was amazing

There was a strong smell of cigarettes each time we entered the apartment and having the doors open on the balcony wasn't pleasant with other apartment people smoking and the strong smell coming into our apartment. Also another mirror is needed, not just the bathroom mirror. Apartment was for four and only 3 coffee mugs.

"We have never had to complain before , this was disappointing , as easily fixed . Small things do matter!!"

Location and ease of entry

Pathetic shower, leaked out and shower head fell off when in use! Bedroom door was hanging off. Previous guests must have mentioned this so very disappointed the maintenance was not carried out before our visit. The front door repair happened on our arrival, not ideal. Good response on notification, although extra towels did not get delivered as promised. Very small refund has been offered, we will see if if is actioned

I wanted to know the codes in NZ before flying to NZ from London UK. They said the codes would be released an hour before. However, it was released at midnight so I got the codes when changing at HK at the airport. They also wanted an identity document. No, not giving that info out to people I do not know.

No welcome guide...more post it notes of not what to do. So need to work on this as it is the small details that welcome you not post it notes.

"Lovely for a short city escape"

Birkenhead area was lovely, quiet part of Auckland but had everything we needed. Close enough to CBD too with a hire car.

A lovely, spacious, modern, secure apartment with stunning city views

The balcony glass was dirty and had cobwebs that hindered the city view. Only a double sized bed.
