Nice and convenient area to live.

Some nights were hot without Air Conditioning.

Chelsea bay is our go to when we visit Auckland. It’s central to the north shore, city and western ring

We normally stay on the city view side, the western side gets lovely and warm in the afternoon but the park view side is noisier due to council emptying bins in the public areas it overlooks very early in the morning (pre-dawn) it’s not that big a deal breaker though, but if you pay a bit more for the city view you’ll have a quieter stay 😉

Comfortable, excellent location, very quiet, great cafes and bars within walking distance, gorgeous view of the city from balcony! Main contact responded extremely quickly to a minor issue we noticed when checking in.

No airconditioning so by late afternoon it was a bit warm inside, fans helped a bit. Back bedroom backs onto carparking and throughout the night the carpark lights would flick on flooding this bedroom with light.

The view was amazing with a broad sweep over the Harbour towards Auckland city and towards Devonport. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Easy access to a variety of cafes and restaurants was a bonus.

We stayed for 8 days hoping to have a relaxing time reading and going out when we felt like it. It was therefore disappointing that the lounge furniture was not comfortable. The kitchen was not well equipped The cutlery and crockery were substandard . There were no small pots for the cooktop and no containers for heating food in the microwave. We are both over 75 so it would have been helpful to have a trolley to take things to our 3rd floor apartment. The apartment would have been fine as a base for a stay of a couple of days but it was not what we were expecting for the price..

Location was perfect

The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, food crumbs on the bench and stove top area. Bed are next level hard and uncomfortable. The shower now didn’t work properly and had to be hand held which was annoying. Over all the unit feels tired and the fittings cheap. Well over priced for what we got.

Clean and modern

Leaky tap. Double bed instead of a queen.

Quiet,clean and comfortable. Close to shops and cafes and easy drive to Auckland city centre

Location, quiteness

Bed was to small and hard for me, but clean and tidy
