Bright Eden Park two bed townhouse private parking

heater not working. bed mattress are in bad. . only toilets good condition.

Handy, very clean

No little personal touches. No tea, coffee etc.

Bed sheets were stained. Single bed was a bit woopy. Towels could have been nicer.

Handy location

it definitely wasn’t cosy - the heat pump didn’t work well and there wasn’t enough bedding for mid winter so we were quite cold

Location was good, right across the road from Eden Park. Unit has been done up and looks alot nicer inside than it does outside - very comfortable with all amenities available for us

Beds are a little old and squeaky and could probably do with an upgrade

Clean and cheap

DON'T BOOK if being able to sit down and chat or whatever is something you want. This place has several chairs and seats, but all of them are ridiculously uncomfortable. Even the beds, which are comfortable enough to sleep on, are too soft to sit on. I really wish we'd spent a little more and booked somewhere else, because you really should never be considering sitting on a pillow on the floor just to relax.

unit was clean and tidy with everything you need for a couple of nights stay.

parking was provided but was so tight I was afraid to park my rental car in the space and as a result had to park on the street. This was ok as there was no event on at Eden Park at the time but would have been an issue. Sadly it rained a lot when we were there, (Auckland was Flooding) and there spouting at the rear of the unit was broken and a constant stream of water poured to the ground right outside the window. this was both noise and meant we couldn't open the window. The garden also needed maintenance.
