Soldiers Cottage, with HOT TUB, dog friendly, great views

The welcome from Gina was lovely. The tray with homemade treats a delight. Even the dog got treats. This couple has thought of everything, even a dog towel and bowls provided. The hot tub was enjoyed daily, rain or shine, and the garden is perfect. The dog loved it, too.

The road is really noisy and extremely busy. Walking the dog, you have to negotiate part of the road to get to a proper footpath. Some of the footpaths were extremely overgrown, too, lots of nettles and brambles, not great if you have a small dog, or have shorts on! None of this can be helped as it just happens to be on that road. Cars fly down it like it's a racetrack, very stressful.

The property is amazing and well looked after, hot tub an extra, Gina and Phil Amazing hosts- homemade cookies/fudge with welcome tray . Loved all the decorations and my 15 year old wants to move in permanently x

Being picky, shower could do with a re-grout and flooring downstairs is raising due to people not drying after use of hot tub

Cosy & easy to relax especially with the on site hot tub. Everything was clean & well catered for. Very dog friendly and safe. The hosts were lovely & very helpful.

A perfect little cottage tucked away in a rural location, its a traditional old cottage which is cosy and has everything you need. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. It is in a private position at the side of the cottage and catches the evening sunshine. Gina gave us a very warm welcome and provided a welcome tray with homemade treats on which were very tasty (Gina - the experimental raspberry flapjack were perfect, so carry on with them 😋) The bed is very comfy and we slept well. Will definitely be back.

Location was great, hoists was friendly and couldn't do enough for you , the hot tub and welcome tray was a lovley gesture , bed was comfy and cottage is cosy .It's our 2nd time visiting and will stay again .

There wasn't anything we didn't like, but the only thing I would mention is perhaps a fan in the bedroom, only because I always get hot...!!
