"2 Bed Gem"

Warm, comfortable bed. Easy access. Had most things we needed. A portable stove top element would have been great for heating or cooking in a pot. However, council consent would probably be needed and we had a one off purpose that weekend for such an item.

"Lovely place. Superb bed 😍 warm & great value"

Stayed one night in winter so didn't get to enjoy the lovely outdoor area. Kate had the heat on for our late arrival which was lovely. The bed was superb 🛏️ Shower pressure was great 🚿 & although small had all we needed.

"Great little gem in Matamata"

Great location in Matamata for the Hobbitton movie set, as well as other attractions nearby. The hosts very friendly and communicative, they sent us detailed instructions on how to enter the property, and it was super easy to find. Fabulous homely 2-bedroom unit seprate from the main house, great for families with kids. It had games, books, etc. Comes with free laundry, which was a huge plus, as well as stocked kitchenette with coffee, teas, cutlery and dishes, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Location is absolutely amazing! We stayed here for a girls' trip for easy access to Hobbiton and Rotorua. The place was super cozy, and the heat pump made a world of difference on the cold mornings and nights. Everything was easily laid out and the shower pressure and temperature are to die for. Was nice and private and hosts were super nice and waved as they went in and out. Loved their dog Miso as well! Would defintely stay here again all of us girls throughly enjoyed our stay.

The main bed for my own liking was too hard and quite uncomfortable. Wish there was a freezer to have frozen food in but that was not too major.

⁸Nice setup

It was a cold experience. No hot water for showers. No electric blankets. The heaters didn't work.
